I have two monitors, but when I look around too fast to make shots my mouse sometimes clicks outside of the tf2 window, even in fullscreen mode. To fix it I just turn off my monitor but that's kind of a pain. This doesn't happen in games like dota for some reason so I'm wondering if there's some silly source problem that I'm unaware of. pls help me

instead of using some hacky workaround, lower your dpi or your windows sens (if it's already not 6/11) and increase your ingame sens.
the problem is when you move around in game your desktop pointer is moving as well and it switches screens before tf2 can center it. that's why it only happens when you flick and click really quickly.

You can set a shortcut to enable the screen lock, so I just have it open on startup and enable it when I play tf2. The program also includes a bunch of other utilities for dual monitors.
Also DO NOT do what #3 says to do. Changing windows sense is never a good idea as it causes skipping. Changing your dpi is fine, but don't touch the windows multiplier.

for me this problem was fixed by simply disabling windows mouse accel, if you havent done it you could try that

It's just that tf2 by default doesn't lock your cursor to the game, but it doesn't affect most people because they play fullscreen. Just use cursorlock, it takes like five minutes to work out how to setup the first time and that's it, just open it every time you open tf2 (or set it up to boot tf2 up for you but I'm too scared of getting vacced unfairly to do that)
