Stock crosshair flash on hit?

I know you can get HUD crosshairs to flash on it, but I like the normal shut cross more (crosshair 7)
Is it possible to just put a stock crosshair in your hud and then you can fix it with the hudanimations.txt? I know it is possible in some way because I think that cyzer had it a long time ago, or it was someone else. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

~~Some HUDs have the xhair 7 as a HUD xhair, it's called "ThinCross" in some of them. Cyzer and Pharaoh have them iirc.~~
