DaggerKind of disappointed to see main merged with open. Would it be possible to merge the 7 teams that paid up in main to be merged with professional to make it a 16 team division?
I'm personally in favor of this. Seems fair to both Open and Main teams.

edit: or even a 9 team main would work too, I know a couple teams are half paid up in main
I'll officially defer to Lange on this, but we'll be talking about this when he gets back tomorrow. If ALL 7 of the teams that paid to play in Main would be fine with paying the difference between the Main and Professional division entry fee ($22), we'd have absolutely no problem expanding the Professional division to 16 teams.
We aren't comfortable with running a 9 team Main division though, as it's too small for our (CEVO's) liking, and as teams die during the season (they always do), the integrity of the division goes right out the window.
We heard the community last season when they asked for more skill divisions, but unfortunately our registration numbers are a little bit smaller this time around, so we haven't been able to justify the additional skill division.
Thanks,
CEVO|Pipher

can you move logjam/coalplant somewhere else in the rotation? having two maps that are rarely/never played isn't really a good idea for the end of a season especially for lan deciders

I would agree with dashner. For my team, playing open again wouldn't be fun or competitive enough, the only competition would be in mid-late playoffs, and playing open again just feels like you're not going anywhere.
Although a 9 team main division would be small, I think it would make sense, because if we try to make a main division next season, and there's a 16 team open playoffs, I don't think all 16 teams would stay alive, and we would be back with just open and professional again.
If we have a small 9 team main division this season + 16 open playoff teams from this season + other teams from IM that want to join (if we're still dong that thing), we could pull through with 16 teams for the next season of main.
edit: budsquad and tune squad are paid up which makes 9. From my understanding, all 9 teams have kept the same or almost the same roster from last season so I don't see the division dying due to dying teams.

Yeah, I found it interesting that they added cp_logjam in as week 9 for just the professional division. I personally would like to know what's up because as much as I really want to see that tier of players play my map so I can get the layout set in stone, I don't want a new map to be the deciding factor over LAN or whatnot and piss off a bunch of teams.
