If the entry fee is $10 per participant, only 1 participant would be enough for a server. This means that you are asking for money for your unusual, probably to get that disgusting hat out of your inventory for a decent profit.

i was reluctant to pay $15 for a season of cevo i didnt get to finish, i cant imagine much people reasoning that $10 to play mge is worth it

Actually, the price of the unusual was undetermined for me, hence why I assumed it wasn't such a bad trade off, lol.
Not big into the trading scene personally.
