is there a way i can play on dx9 and not have this annoying ass explosion effect
im on -dxlevel 91 ive tried it on -dxlevel 95 and -dxlevel 98 and the stupid bubbles dont go away

they updated the particle effects, youre probably stuck with them unless they revert the update.

I started a thread about this a weak ago, Dx81 does remove it, I switched to it for solely this reason.

edit; doesn't completely remove it, just makes it a whole lot less noticable
