I'll never fucking forget this ever, this is solely responsible for me getting into competitive Team Fortress 2 in the first place. I can pretty much remember this entire event off the top of my head, right down to Move saying in chat "Are you kidding me Fred?" and Fred replying "Does it look like I'm wearing a clown suit?"

Excellent times, the comp. players were all cool, I only wish we managed to get it put onto YouTube before the demos broke cause the demo system was god awful back then.

Our group stage game against HRG at i49. There were people that thought we would just finish 8th and be a mega disappointment, but despite our lack of competition in AU and our less than ideal start to our bootcamp, we ended up with the win. Not only that, it was the closest game of TF2 I have ever played in.

Sure we only ended up coming 4th, but that game in particular definitely (well, I hope!) showed that us TF2'ers from Kangarooland can compete at the top.

My first air headshot. I was sitting in a pub communities mumble server, casually talking shit. I was sniper, standing behind the A point in Badwater. I see a soldier come flying over the hill at mach speed, and I flick scope headshot him at the peak of his jump. I lost my shit in mumble, and for a second thought I was the greatest. This was back in 2009-2010 I think.

For me it's gotta be playing with Nyquil PM/DeRobert and the C's/Hot Cheetos and Takis/Unannounced Pleasure for almost 3 seasons. I love almost everyone I played with on those teams and have made some incredible friends along the way (I even got a little Filipino brother). Leaving was one of the most bittersweet things I've ever done.

The 16-0 season on Community Clown College, shame it didn't work out in playoffs but everyone on that team was awesome and I still love those guys.

Playing a 2 1/2 hour match on cp_ashville aka cp_auschwitz (and winning, thank god).

Not only was it a true testament to how hard our team had worked that season, going from a low IM shitter team to a contender, but it was the last game I played on esea.

More recently, winning the TF.TV HIGHLANDER INVITATIONAL was pretty awesome, just one magical day where everything seemed to go incredibly right. I know everyone on our team had a great time that day too.

It was the last time I made a serious effort to succeed in 6v6, and the game went well and confirmed that, if I really tried, I could build a strong team for main or invite.

Being casted was one of the greatest things. I thought everything i worked for came up to that moment and it was great. playing on carl sagan foundation with stevec, remedy, muffin and chimp. It was my first season of tf2 and it was IM and i sucked and flamed a lot but I learned a shit ton. love you guys

A bunch of folks in our hotel suite at gxl watching the cevo finals cast just talking about tf2 in person was up there.

Also hanging out and taking to the new players new newbie mixes can be really rewarding. First airshots, first med drops, first wins, etc happen every Friday and I get to experience that over and over again.
