6:41 PM - Run You Clever Boy and Remember: If Tagg signed it for me, then I'd definetly keep it
6:42 PM - Run You Clever Boy and Remember: In case you're wondering, the other guy gave me the sniper for a heavy unusual plus sweets :)
WELL THAT MAKES IT OK I GUESS

Pyromancertaggthe part im most confused about is that this guy made a post in my steam group to sell an item that i signed
??what type of brain does this guy have??
You will learn that traders have no brains. Only greed drives them.
And the end goal of selling those epic items for 80$ paypal

Anyway, I was in a pub match just now and someone asked me if this was signed by the famous Tagg (the YouTuber. Used to play COD and now he plays with STAR_ all the time)

I just love how traders call the comp players dicks because let's be real, the only thing decent about them is their backpack.

From his outpost trade:
WHAT??? So last year, some guy friended me asking if we could 1:1 S. Festive Sniper Rifles (I had another one with no parts and no siggy), I said yes because back then I was a complete amateur to trading and I didn't know signatures made items worth less.
Either this guy has a horrible memory, or he's full of shit.

Didn't an item signed by Star sell for a few thousand last Tip of the Hats? People are crazy, but at least that was for a good cause.

Kuni, i think thats WHY it went insane. Almost any charity event has things go much higher than usual.

People like to insert themselves into the lives of people who they feel are celebrities. Signed weapons is this community's equivalent to autographs. By having this tiny form of pseudo-interaction with someone who they idolize, I guess they can feel special or more important themselves.
Eh, I put down $30 in the I49 auction (I think) for a rocket launcher signed by Boomer. Of course a lot of that has to do with a desire to take part in a community event, especially when the money is going to a good cause, but I don't think there's anything too obsessive about getting an "autograph." I would never pay real money to a trader for a signed weapon, but if there's a player you particularly admire for some reason, getting a signed weapon is a way to show that he's someone you enjoy watching and (somewhat) emulate in-game. Especially if that player's known for some specific trait, like going for melee kills with the sword, using the direct hit, something offbeat. Which is silly, but you can't deny a Pain Train signed by Ggglygy would have some appeal.

Any scout can point and click with their primary, but it takes a true master to cap points.

RagorEverytime I read the word "sweets" in regards to trading, I have a micro-aneurysm.
Traders are fucking scum
Ok so I've never traded before except when buying shit with my saved up ref. Are these people like giving away candy along with their trade or something?

I dont get why it would allegedly be more valuable, a couple days ago the cheapest Gold botkiller rocket launcher on the market was signed by (IIRC) tagg. I plan on getting items signed to keep in my inventory as a reminder of some of the greats I watched play.
