reillyI kinda gave up on Canadian internet and take whatever I get.
Yeah this is basically what you have to do. My Bell connection drops every 3-4 minutes and they sent out a guy to my house who just told me nothing was wrong and left.

I live in midwestern Ontario and I have eatlink as well. They are a pretty good company but I've had a few minor problems. Internet went out a few weeks ago for like a whole hour, I get a few short ping spikes every couple of hours. Could just be my router/family doing shit. I get like 30 ping to chi, 65 to dal and 25 to ny on net graph on average. Overall I've been pretty happy with eastlink. I pay for 20 down and 1 up and it's always that or higher sometimes. The fact that they don't have any data caps was a solid plus for me.
hithereCan also confirm Shaw is garbage #3
(note: i lived in canada for 5 years even though i have this na flag)

you should be a more specific than just canada. (east/west if not province or city)
telus fiber is probably the best in terms of low latency and jitter. their dsl is pretty good too.
coast cable (aka dccnet aka eastlink but west coast) is the worst ive had.
shaw is really fucking bad too though, and their customer service blows.
