So I recently tried hosting a local server to practice some aiming on and when I attempted to play on the server it wouldn't allow me to walk or anything and when I shot it would shoot like... 1 billion times. After checking my configs out and finding the problem this was the issue inside Stabby's config. So my question is; what does it do and why does it cause this?
Thanks.

Run the host in threaded mode, (0 == off, 1 == if multicore, 2 == force)

Yeah, that's what happens.

The problem is that you listened to stabby on matters that don't concern trickstabs or Ambassador headshots. Long story short, don't bother with host_thread_mode, just set a value for "-threads" in launch options and set mat_queue_mode to 2.

Eh, when I did a timedemo host_thread_mode 2 gave a few more frames than 1. It's a competitive config, not meant for offline practice where FPS is a non-issue.
I do believe the issue is noted in the config, too?
