Why does -insecure make you crash nowadays? I'd play on localhost server and -insecure allows sourcemod that I've installed. Why did Valve have to change this.

Steps

[*] Completely exit the Steam client.
[*] Open the run command (Windows Key + R)
[*] Type in steam://flushconfig
[*] Restart your PC
[*] Start steam from the directory in which its installed (Not a shortcut or from Start)

I fixed mine a few days ago. Had to reinstall windows 7 and update windows fully. Took like an hour.
