http://www.atf2.org connects you to GeeksIRC (main server for all tf2 related channels)
upon connecting through the atf2 client, you will be automatically connected to #tf2.pug.na, #tf2mix, #tf2.pug.nahl, #tf2.mix.nahl, and #tf2scrim
to register your username on geeksIRC: /ns register password email
then you can simply auth upon connecting through atf2.org or do it manually with /ns id username password
I don't know if you're paid up or anything but I've noticed the ESEA PUGs have suddenly picked back up in frequency, you could go try those out if you're into ESEA and that kind of thing.
