i fixed my tf2 crashing by putting -dxlevel 91 in my launch options but it hurts my eyes (literally), will i have to keep playing with this or will i be able to switch once valve fixes this issue.

I pasted in a backup of the game I had from a month ago and then updated it again and so far so good.
