I cant decide on what mechanical keyboard to choose from, Im looking for a Cherry MX Red switches keyboard with no number pad. I'm stuck deciding between noppoo choc mini, otaku keyboard, CM storm quickfire rapid, leopold, and a few others I've seen. anyone have any recommendations or why one over the other?
I have a choc mini and isn't a solid keyboard IMO, keys are a bit loose, specially spacebar, and it makes too much unnecessary noise compared to my ducky. Anyway, I think you'll be fine with any other choice you make, just pick a tenkeyless with a discounted price and it's ok. Btw backlight is something I'd consider

Ya I've been using my friend noppoo choc mini that he let me borrow and I noticed the space bar wasn't too firm, also his "h" key cap was crooked. I don't care for back light tbh, how do you like the ducky compared to the noppoo?

OP in exact same situation as I am, will be paying attention to this thread
I really like Leopold. I'd either get that or Filco tbh.
cm storm rapid is one of the cheaper mechanical keyboards. It's tenkeyless and around $80
TwinqeI bought the cm storm, and surprisingly it's proved to be a highly capable keyboard. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's pretty cheap!
btw cm storm is like a brand sorta because I have a cm storm mouse, what type of keyboard is it.
I have the black widow, its cheap, and decent for a mechanical keyboard, but if I wouldve looked more when i bought this keyboard I wouldve gotten one of the otaku keyboards. The black widow is good for the $60 I paid for it, but I wouldnt probably pay any more. A price range is also nice, because lots of the keyboards people are suggesting are $100+, which seems a little high for a keyboard

Ya won't be disappointed with Leopold.
