Hey guys, I wasn't sure if I should put this into e-sports or hardware, but I feel like this question is mostly geared towards hardware.
If I'm using:
Two monitors (A 144hz and a 60z one, both at 1080p)
GTX 970
Intel i5-4690k @ 3.9 GHz
1600 MHz 8 GB ram
and play CS:GO at the lowest in game settings at 1080p around what kind of fps will I get

you have more than enough power to run on low settings

I have the same cpu and a very much worse gpu (7850) and never go below 144 fps on low settings for csgo.

A current gen i5 with that GPU will most likely get you ~180 fps constant in csgo with most graphic settings

you will probably get 300+ fps at all times
you will probably get 300+ fps at all times
Karlyou will probably get 300+ fps at all times
This sounds about right, I get about 250-300 constantly running on max with the same CPU and a 780 Ti

so I have the exact GPU and CPU mentioned in the OP and I get around 150-180 fps on max settings 1080p in csgo. Does anyone know why that might be? my temps are fine all around and I feel like my fps should definitely be a bit higher with a 970 and 4690k, but maybe I'm wrong

Do you overclock your cpu at all? also you can always lower your settings.

To be honest, unless you have severely outdated driver software, a defective part, or something else your FPS shouldn't be a concern. Might not be the highest in the world, but honestly that's just Source Engine being Source Engine.

No overclock. and yeah I just lower the settings so it's no big deal really, just wasn't sure if I had missed some setting or overlooked something obvious that might be lowering my fps
