Just wondering if anyone uses them, and if possibly the tactile bump feels more "visible" w/ the keys no longer bottoming out. Just something off hand that I've been wondering for awhile.

Well I use greens(which are just stiffer blues) with o-rings and I can still feel a denser bump towards then. I got my old mech with blues I could test out with an o-ring if you want an accurate response.

edit: its just about the same with my blues there isn't a noticeable bottom out sound compared to they keys without the o-rings but you can still feel it.

Whatever you care/have the time to do. Would be appreciated if you could get around to it, though.

Isn't the point of tactile bumps that you don't need to bottom out to register keystrokes? Unless you are very heavy handed it should feel identical.

I frequently bottom my keys out when pressing, and most of the time barely notice the tactile bump unless I try to feel it. Maybe I adjusted to this keyboard rather fast - the bump was more noticeable at first to me - considering I had formerly been using a membrane keyboard. I suppose, you're right; probably won't make a difference w/ O-rings.

In my opinion, greys/clears probably have the most pronounced tactile bump, but with a very different feel than blues or greens (since they are not clicky). They are much less linear than any other cherry switch I know of, since they have a high initial activation force, kinda like a membrane keyboard.

I have o-rings on my browns which are identical to blues in most aspects but without the click. The tactile bump is still very noticeable, but I think it will depend on how you type. I only bottom out about half the time so I'm used to noticing the tactile bump, but when I do bottom out the o-rings mean the bottom out position is maybe 0.5-1mm rather than 2mm below the bump so I'm learning to notice it more there as well.
