I have a problem with my tf2 crosshairs being very grainy and pixelated. Has anyone encountered this problem before and fixed it? What commands should I edit in my autoexec to change my crosshair quality?

judging by the resolution of the picture, you probably have set your game to a low res and that's why the crosshair looks crappy

a while ago grape mentioned he used mat_picmip -1 to make the crosshair more smooth.
Do you have mat_showlowresimage or whatever it's called enabled? That causes the crosshairs to look messed up.
"Can't use cheat cvar mat_showlowresimage in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1."
mat_picmip -1 didn't make a difference for me either.
any other ideas?
