Is their a script that I can use that when I zoom in as a Sniper it changes sensitivity so I can have the same 180 while un-zoomed. Or would this some how be a form of cheating in ESEA or something stupid.

What file is that found in? Or is it just a console command?

in the future you can do the TF2 equivalent of googling (or do the double whammy and try both) by typing this into console...

find zoom

"zoom" can be replaced with anything you're looking for. looking for a tournament command?

find tournament

looking for the sniper rifle auto rezoom command?
find zoom (if that doesn't work) find auto (if that doesn't work, keep switching up the search term)

edit: if you're looking for a server command, for say SOAP_DM, do something like
rcon find soap (pretty sure all soap commands are prefixed with soap)

I was actually wondering the same thing very recently as well. I did some searching eventually landed on a natf2 thread http://natf2.com/topics/923-zoom-sens. The answer does seem to be setting zoom_sensitivity_ratio to 4.5 to get the same sensitivity zoomed in as unzoomed. I'm not quite sure why it is exactly 4.5, but it has something to do with the fov change on zoom.

It doesn't feel right though, because you're zoomed in. I'd just get used to the normal 1.0 setting because you're never going to get it to feel exactly like running around with a scattergun. There's a huge difference.

There's nothing wrong with modifying it from 1.0, it's preference. Going too high will probably give you motion sickness though (above 3). I personally use around 1.2, but it's always preference.

if you need to do a 180 you should probably unzoom and then zoom back in, it's not really practical to keep the same "/360 with a zoomed in fov and expect to keep any kind of precision.

For consistency sake it makes sense to keep it somewhat proportional to the fov change so that aiming on something 2 inches to the right of your crosshair takes about the same mouse movement zoomed in or not zoomed in. I believe this is accomplished with the default zoom_sensitivity_ratio setting of 1.
