Its almost the second half of the season, where you won't have to worry about high open teams

You'll win at least one game and have a bunch of nailbitingly close matches and take rounds that you didn't believe you could, and you'll grow accustomed to your teammates playstyles and work together

It will be hard, but if you can make it, you'll come out so much stronger

Just because a high open team beats a low open team doesn't mean the high open team is ready for IM. Most of the top open teams would get obliterated in IM (see Pinoy Boys). Just tough it out a little longer, and during the second half of the season, teams will actually be matched according to their records, and not randomly.

I think the spawncamp when the other team only had 5 players is pretty lame, ignoring skill gap.

Yeah, I wasn't really happy with the way my whole team played that last night. Both of my soldiers just went black box and sat right outside of spawn and just kritzed into them every minute or so. Guess we all gotta try our hardest to have the most frags in open boys!!

there are plenty of people who have multiple seasons in open but still aren't quite ready for IM. in fact, it seems to be a really common misconception that seasons/hours played equals skill. people improve at different rates, meaning that, despite all the experience they have, they might not be "IM ready" or "Invite ready". who cares that you're up against someone with experience, learn from what they do and play the game.

1-5 currently. Mainly just playing with a bunch of good friends of mine. Extremely frustrating at times but I still enjoy playing with them. Hopefully the second half of the season will be better ^_^.

PS: Please fix ESEA servers ;_;

Servers are actually normal now. My team and I had zero stutters in a 25 minute match last night, and others have been saying the same regarding the servers. It's nice to see.

we didnt wanna 5v6 either we just thought it was a good idea to save the forfeit for something more useful for when we dont have 5 and not get dropped from open, not to mention there wouldnt be much we could learn if we were gonna get crushed by a high open team even if we had 6 people.

schedule more scrims to learn, not getting crushed by high open gods while we're in dirt compared to them???

Im not even mad about playing the roll, while it sucked to be spawn camped, it was over pretty quick, and we at least capped, even if it was a double spy back cap. They were a lot better team than us, and both teams knew it.

I hope everyone stays in ESEA so we can have a main division again and maybe Open will be moire fun
