Hi guys! Anyone know how to change the connecting to server screen with a nice .gif or something like that. If any of you guys have your own custom loading screen and are willing to share that please do! If, however, you do post, could you tell me how I change that within the HUD files? Thank you!

I used to have a hud with a dancing cat, but it became unupdated since the taunt upgrade so I changed. Is there a way I can get back the cat?

You need to add an entry to statsummary.res, I'll give more details when I get home if no one else helps you by then, but the idea is you need to get the gif you want, convert it into a .vtf and then tell your hud to use it in statsummary.res

Replace your statsummary.res with this: Backup your old one.
Should be in
custom\YOUR-HUD-NAME\resource\uiand put these in
\custom\YOUR-HUD-NAME\materials\vgui\replay\thumbnailsmake those sub folders if your hud doesn't have them.
Result is a completely light blue background matching the color of this gif sitting in the middle.
