Showstopper just hit a double. The game really is dead.
Showstopper just hit the double airshot of the season. I'm calling it.
3 rounds... on the road to improvement
p.s - they were very very good, ggs

Game was amazing. Cast was very well done.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I really dislike the sliding transition between POVs. I always am confused as to what is going on.

bearodactylreally not a fan of the split cam sniper duels...
I can't really keep track of what's going on simultaneously (which is the point) because they're not on the same vertical or horizontal plane. I know it's to keep the 16:9 frame but I just can't see what's going on in those situations. Would prefer 2 side-by-side 4:3 resolutions that are cropped to the middle or something.

when you do the split screen can you just have it be full screen instead of 2 quarter screens and insert text along the top on each half so we know which cam is showing what team at a glance?
I dont see how the sliding transition is confusing, it looks nice and is smooth compared to an abrupt POV switch

The camera moves in a way that is never used in source engine games (at least not tf2). It's particularly weird when it goes through a wall (e.g. on pocket in process choke and then switch to roamer in IT).
@dashner: I had been away from the casts for a little bit and assumed that it had already been implemented for a little while prior to LAN. Also, this seemed like a good spot to mention it as any.

I didn't think my opinion was reflecting the majority so I didn't say anything, but I guess if other people agree. I really like the smooth transitions though.
I have no problem with the split screens. They provide more info about sniper positioning and offer viewers to a choice between perspectives, which is always better than watching a single sniper getting headshot by another one. Though I would agree with Sideshow that a larger aspect ratio might be better.
