omniGot motivated by Colly's inspiration to base a HUD off of Google's Material Design. I've been quite busy, but it's not close to how I want it to look as a final result.
Looks great, people sure are stepping it up when in comes the all the menus and stuff! My only complaint is that it looks a bit empty on the right most of the time, but I guess that's part of the style.

Yeah, but it's not anything worth posting at the moment. When I've worked on it a bit more, I'll post some pictures.
I'd make that Header a bit thinner, 25 tall works well on 16:9 imo

1280x1024 is a 5:4 res so be sure to use those overides though they won't affect the chat
Here's a quick little untested smaller chat box, put it in resource/ui/

I'll have a proper smaller chat/resolution fixed override soon. (alternativly, you could use the basechat.res file from another Hud you like)

im sure you are already aware kermit, but centered refracts will bleed thru the viewmodels, might consider using the triangle as a health cross similar to what jarkin has
