Hey, things with the Sad Men didn't work out so I'm looking for a new team whether that be starting or backup. I do demo reviews with my mentors almost every night and I'm committed to improving both my gamesense and my calling abilities, as well as being more of a team player in terms of my attitude. I know what I need to work on, and I'd like a chance to earn your respect as both a teammate and a gamer.

Still only looking to play on a team that I feel is going to do better than the one I was on last season. I've been working on stuff and I'm sure that I can handle playing in IM, but I'd also love to play for anyone contending in open. I'd really appreciate teammates that are actively looking to get better.

11-3 gets you cut these days? Holy shit. I don't get why you weren't given a chance to end the season.
Oh well. I've heard indirectly through other people about all of the time you've been putting into the game. Good luck, and I hope you get a good, long term home.

Really committed to getting better and it's a shame he got cut, he was playing pretty well.
Also watch out for his insane med DM

Not sure what would make a team cut tetro. he tried out for us and we really liked his attitude towards the game, his overall persona, and his in game knowledge and skill level. This guy is a good pick up to fill your med spot at the high open level.

Tetro is probably the best Medic LFT open right now. He has really, really good mechanics. He hits his arrows, he surfs all the rockets, and just has incredibly good survivability in general.
He's getting mentored by Mike and Blackymonster. He takes notes. He actually listens to criticism and is genuinely dedicated to becoming the best player he can be.
And he's a bang-up nice guy.
Any team in open would do well to pick him up. He's good enough to play IM right now, in my opinion. Give him a shot, you won't be disappointed.

The most dedicated gamer I've ever had experience with. He's made significant strides since we parted ways and can easily play on a top open or IM team.
Literally makes the worst jokes tho

I didn't like anime enough.
Nah, my internet went out last night and they played with conductor on scout and marquee on med and decided they liked that better.

Tetro is really cool and a really solid medic. Sucks that he's LFT already but he shouldn't be LFT for long

Considering tetro has been cut 2 seasons in a row without anyone so much as mentioning a reason why, I figure I'll step up and give my experience playing with him.
First off, as a lot of people already mentioned - tetro is a nice dude. When the subject wasn't about our team, I've had nothing but pleasant interactions with him. That being said, he's actually fairly stubborn when it comes to tf2. While it's completely true that he spends time demo reviewing to try and get better, he also has his own youtube channel dedicated to "tetro's trips" and how to play maps - so he feels he already has a strong grasp of the game and his ability. So when he says he's open to criticism it comes off as a little disingenuous because that wasn't really the case for us. He also removed every single one of us from friends, so I guess we weren't on as good terms as I thought.
Being somewhat stubborn and getting a little angry at scrims didn't really factor into the decision to cut him, though. Throughout the pre-season we tried out a handful of pockets that tetro didn't personally mesh with or that he felt didn't call enough. I thought it was not really fair to judge anyone on the team until we actually got a stable 6, which unfortunately didn't happen until late week 1 of the season starting. After week 1, our team really had to take a good look what was going wrong because we're trying to be a top4-8 open team, and here we are dropping 3 rounds to teams that will likely not make playoffs and even losing. A glance at stats showed that tetro died a lot more than the enemy medic on process week both games resulting in a lot less ubers and heals, including the game we won.
This pretty much resulted in a blame game with tetro vs the other 5 players on the team. Comms in scrims turned into bsc trying to micromanage tetro's positioning the whole game and have him not play in such dangerous positions and stop ending ubers in a way where he would die immediately after. There were some arguments and you could tell things were kind of tense from that point on. Tetro came home for the summer during metalworks week on top of all this, which made him have a super unstable connection where he would disconnect or spike up to 900 ping at random times. Monday he couldn't scrim at all because of internet issues and Tuesday we didn't see him until 10:10 for our 10:30 match. We had no clue when or if he would be online so we scrimmed again with the roster we played with the previous day and decided that it was more a stable roster.
TL;DR: Tetro has a lot of odd positioning and tries to play medic really aggressively which didn't work out for us.

Okay I agree that tetro has super aggressive positioning at times, which will more often than not get him killed unless the rest of the team is playing off it perfectly. But in the process match , both your scouts would never push across anything, ever. Your soldiers would jump in on mids and die, and your scouts stayed back with heals and accomplished nothing. Its hard to push heals across the point as med when your scouts sit back. IMO that was the reason you guys lost those rounds/ match.
tetro also got a really cool backcap

I'm aware we had more problems in that match than tetro, my post wasn't a Sad Men vs Shredded discussion post nor was that the reason we cut him.
