As I've said in previous posts of me in this Hardware section, I'm only 12... and I am not very smart with these type of things. Anyway, Hi. I'm Mubby, again and I would like to address a problem I've been recently having regarding my ping in Team Fortress 2.
So to start off few people in my house use our BT-HUB5 internet and that is all fine and dandy. But recently with the Toshiba Satellite laptop (which has Windows 8.1) I've been using, a-lot of ping related issues have started to come and it has been getting higher and higher throughout the past few days. Firstly I thought this was my location since I had recently moved rooms in my house but then my opinion started to differ because in this new room I was actually closer to the box which the internet is provided by. So earlier this evening as of this post I was messing in my brothers room with my laptop which my brother also plays Team Fortress 2 and had no ping related problems. Even doe I was in the same position he had his setup my ping had not changed or done me any good. This is when I became confused and I went to the Windows Wi-Fi settings and clicked on my broadband this is when I was welcomed with this. (scroll down for the image)

Now after this I was confused and I went for the stupid option and just clicked the reset button that was sitting there. This actually made all my ping related issues disappear but yet I was not satisfied here is why. To start no one else in the house had this problem (and most or not all of them use Windows 8.1 and the same internet). Lastly I was/and still am worried that this is going up and I have to keep resetting it.
So that is all I really have to cover in anyone to help me out in the comments that will be highly appreciated.

Connect VIA Ethernet. Honestly that's the best way. I don't know what it takes, either moving down into the basement like I did or getting a VERY long ethernet cable and covering it with tape as it snakes towards your computer. My internet speed tripled when I did this, and I no longer get lag spikes

It's nothing to with spikes and I don't own a basement. Frankly I don't think it is anything to do with locations.

It's nothing to with spikes and I don't own a basement. Frankly I don't think it is anything to do with locations.
what does net graph look like in TF2? (can you post a screenshot of net_graph 4?)
What ping do you have when it's working properly?

It seems like a hardware issue (I.E. your computer). For now just deal with it, but a better long term solution would be seeing someone who actually knows what they're talking about or getting a new computer

1) I will try to get a screenshot.
2) 20-30 maybe lower.
3) 70-80 feels like 200.

If you're using wireless, go to your network and sharing center, devices, right click your network adapter, properties, power management, and disable power saving. It can help a lot
