I bought a refurb GTX 580 recently and whenever I try alt tabbing out of TF2, my desktop becomes completely grey. Thte same grey background that shows up when you ctrl+alt+delete. The taskbar still works if I click on where buttons should be but some windows are barely responsive. Reloading explorer.exe doesn't do any good. I'm forced to sign out/restart to remedy the problem. I tried borderless windowed mode, but then when I alt tab the game screen freezes even though the game is still responsive.
This doesn't happen in any of my other games. I dunno if this is related to newer Nvidia drivers. I'm on the latest version I'm also on Windows 8.1.
