Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make an SFM animation where a soldier gets a double airshot onto another solly. How should i best do this?
Also note that i'm not an SFM pro at all. I'm pretty good with posters but animations are still pretty hard for me. I hope someone can help me with this. :)

P.S sry for the bad english

Well, first let's go over the limitations of SFM.

- When you record multiple run-throughs and see your past recordings, those are just models acting out what you did in-game. They aren't a player and they won't act like a player. They're just cosmetic.
- There's no way to obtain proper collision or detonation on any objects that aren't pre-baked into the map.

The best way to do this is to ask a friend to help you out. Source Filmmaker actually supports multiplayer by making the internal server set to sv_lan 0. Then, other SFM users can connect to your server and help you record. Then you'll need to recreate the double airshot from there.

Probably that ^

or use F11 to position your Soldier in-game, then press the record button under the viewport, and just use the graph editor + bookmarks to sync the explosions

And if you didn't know, you can click the + button on the sidebar and select "Add Animation Sets for Existing Objects" to import the objects and particles from your recordings
