So I recently came back from a vacation and (maybe because of an update that happened while I was gone?) anything that is aliased or any exec commands in my autoexec aren't working. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

is your config in tf/custom/foldername or tf/cfg? The one in custom will load first and steam cloud might be messing with things if its in tf/cfg

copy paste your stuff from the old autoexec to a new one and make sure it's placed like this
steamapps > common > team fortress 2 > tf > cfg

the name of his autoexec was autoexec,cfg.txt, also all his configs were called like that
