In my opinion you should have a look at the whitelist presets for other leagues and only ban those weapons which are banned for 6v6 everywhere. If any league allows them, you should allow them. That way you have the most open whitelist, which is a thing we should be moving towards in view of upcoming matchmaking with no whitelist at all.
LsRainbowsHeres a thread with some explanations on reasons for bans:
https://www.reddit.com/r/truetf2/comments/38xgls/where_to_find_the_official_motivation_behind/
If you go to the comp tf wiki, and click the individual class pages, you can see which weapons were banned for which league, and sometimes why. It can give maybe a bit better perspective on which weapons are unanimously considered broken and which weapons are just controversial.
Thank you for this!

Agree with sideshow, if more than one league/all the leagues are banning one particular weapon it just shows how inbalanced/broken it is (crit-a-cola). If some leagues are not banning some weapons (Market Gardener in ESEA is unbanned but banned in ETF2L) then it shows it can be put up with, for lack of a better term.
Atleast I think MG is unbanned in ESEA.

CP_Granary vs CP_Granary_Pro has been brought to my attention. What are your guys thoughts on this one?

i think using an original map rotation would be smarter, since we can get any new up-and-coming maps (basically just granary_pro)

Or maybe allow all comp maps in their newest versions to chose from by tournament admins so we can play up to date Viaduct and Granary even if ESEA uses b6 :P
What I mean is lets say ESEA season starts and new version of some map is released after. Why should Razer stay with it since it'll most likely be replaced in a new season?

then replace it when ESEA changes. Dilusive does not seem extremely knowledgeable in tf2. Instead of creating new standards he should adopt ones currently in place as a starting point. Dilusive should look at the current ruleset used by the largest 6v6 league and adopt it.
Or do we want 3 more pages of if we should have CTF gamemode, cvars changes, and weapon ban discussions.

This would be only a problem if the Razer arena team was committed to doing their thing without taking any steps to understand tf2 and the community. They have already shown themselves to be receptive to feedback, so I don't see anything wrong with them trying to carve out their own set of standards instead of being a carbon copy of ESEA.

we have the opportunity here to work alongside a fantastic developer to mold the league we want. why should we just tell him to clone ESEA when we could do whatever we want? Why wait for ESEA?

As of writing this, the site is displaying no teams signed up. If this is the case, gotta make dem teams!

Playing with "ETF2L's" ruleset:
230 teams signed up for ETF2L's S21
36 teams signed up for ozfortress's OWL
23 teams signed up for AF's AFC 9
Few dozens 30 teams in LBTF2 iirc.
TOTAL: 419 449 teams playing ETF2L rules (not counting LBTF2)
Playing with UGC ruleset:
283 teams signed up from NA
50 team signed up from Europe
17 teams signed up from South America
22 teams signed up from Asia
21 teams signed up from ozfortress
TOTAL: 393 teams playing UGC rules
Playing with ESEA ruleset:
78 teams signed up for ESEA
TOTAL: 78 teams playing ESEA rules.
By what definition is it the biggest 6v6 league?
It's almost two times smaller than Open division of ETF2L.
Also should I mention that NA tourneys such as RealTourney use ETF2L ruleset as it's more suited for one night cups and similar?
EDIT:
Of course forgot about the biggest event bringing in 10 thousand viewers:
DougEU Ruleset is also used in TF2's "The International" (insomnia lan)
Then again I shouldn't push too hard as ESEA ruleset is better for betting purposes :P
Though I'd rather not play 1 hour long matches in a tournament.

EU Ruleset is also used in TF2's "The International" (insomnia lan), so I agree with Cherry.
Also, EU Ruleset is so much funner than NA Ruleset, you guys would love how tense a close game gets with the smaller time limit.

I personally find ESEA Rules with BO1 Maps the best imo. It gives your team less of a chance of getting rolled by having halves to recoup and talk it out and come back into the game. Would also be kinda cool to bring back gravel or maybe try out some up and coming maps in one night cups like ETF2L.
its probably better to go with ETF2L Ruleset but, Im just giving my opinion.

Any idea how many teams played in LBTF2?
I had link to the spreadsheed saved somewhere, but I can't find it.
I believe it was 48 which would make number of teams playing similar ruleset 467, but I'm not really sure so I didn't post it.

It's worth remembering there is no native support for halves, it's a custom ESEA plugin so the burden on Razer developers would be much higher to implement it.
