Are TF.TV podcasts a possibility in the future? I'm on limited data but do have irregular access to WiFi, so watching streams is tricky, and catching up on VODs can be near impossible.
Though podcasts could be passively downloaded while at a WiFi hotspot and could be listened to anywhere.
If the audio portion of the tf.tv casts could be separated and released as a podcast I would be a long time subscriber and listener.
If teamfortresstv was looking for additional ad revenue it is possible that the podcast could grow in to a possible revenue stream in terms of advertisement money.
Is there any interest from the community in audio only casts delivered in podcast form?

What exactly would it focus on? Fully Charged is a thing

Well yea you would release fully charged on it. I was thinking more in terms of releasing audio shout casts from esea, etf2l and i55
Even show matches & one day cups could be uploaded

There was a thread about this somewhere, we had them uploaded to soundcloud? I think we can find the thread if we poke around (only a month old)

Looks like OP posted in there. Doesn't seem like much has come from the idea though.

The sounfcloud thing fell through. But sounfcloud doesn't allow downloading for offline listening.
I posted on that thread, with the podcast idea, but I went un-noticed so I thought a post in the "suggestion" area of the website would be fitting.
Edit: ninjad

Minor necro: it'd be really cool if you guys could implement an audio only alternative for casts (i.e. live, not just a post game download podcast thing). When I'm at work it can sometimes b p lax but I can't really look at a stream, and my work net is crap so it buffers all the time no matter what.
Unless I missed the whole point of this thread and it was for exactly what I'm interested in.

Here ya go
http://mixlr.com/
can put it on dropbox, soundcloud and other ones after you're done broadcasting
it probably isn't as intensive as obs so maybe one of the members of the signal chain in the broadcast can just have it there running without much problem

I'm pretty sure there's an option to allow downloading when you upload something to Soundclound which will add a download button. You can also dl even audio without downloading enabled with third party tools

I think it was for pricing reasons we ditched Soundcloud.
You can only upload x number of hours for free and it didn't seem like there was a big demand for the audio service.

The mobile app for twitch lets you use audio only, if that helps.

That does help a bit, true!
Although if TFTV could look into this at some point and make it a thing that'd be super awesome

casting i55 on radio make it happen

I've always thought esports needed a radio network in general.

I still upload eu cast audio to my own mega account and link it in the match thread, still need to do the nerdrage reason week 7 game and the playoffs though. So far as I know I'm the only producer recording mumble. If we know there is more demand we can make it more widespread.
