KevinIsPwnThey've done spread in the past on various single-map games, so I don't see why they would overturn it based on that.
It'll have to wait until Cherry wakes up for a final verdict but I'd imagine all bets will be returned based on this:

which would suggest that the spread was implemented with a BO3 in mind, meaning it isn't optimized for rounds, but for maps. In addition there is, of course, the simple fact that anyone who saw that would have bet with that in mind.

Why would ESEA use BO3 format on their website to play just one map?
Also BO1 for the later round of playoffs? Just get your client working and there won't be time constraints..
