Saloon had a large impact on our stream numbers, I was actually quite surprised to see three regular season ETF2L games with over 1000 viewers last season and I think it's mostly down to Saloon.tf. Thanks Cherry, hope your next projects go well.

I obviously missed some names. Not because I don't think about you or because you are not relevant enough.
There's too many of good people I met to list them all at once, I think about you sometimes and will be updating the post.
There are also people like David, Dashner, Kevin who are part of bigger orgs and won't find themselves by CTRL+Fing their name, but they are in there :)

sadly they dont give out community weapons like they used too (trust me, I've invested a lot of time trying to get one) what is there now? what do they award notable community members with now a days? Last person I saw get a weapon was Noobinator, I cant really remember

Thanks for everything you've done for us! You're truly an amazing guy with a lot of talent and it was a great experience getting to know you and working with you the past 1-2 years

In the relatively short time I've been with Saloon, CHERRY's been one of the nicest, friendliest and most dedicated guys I've ever worked with. Him contacting me about writing for Saloon.tf was the first opportunity I was given to do writing for anything in this game in any official capacity and it gave me the experience, confidence and exposure to later get involved with TFTV and TF2Stadium; without CHERRY noticing and approaching me I probably wouldn't have had the confidence to properly go into writing for TF2 and I probably never would've ended up writing the first Vanguard's View satire piece, which is still one of my favourite things I've ever written.

Even from the little time I've known him I have a lot to be thankful to CHERRY for and, though I look forward to seeing where Saloon goes under Geel's ownership, it really sucks to see him go. Give the man a fond farewell guys - he really does deserve it.

More like fixing Saloon tickets for the last time, listening to Lonely Day and making a complaint with PayPal who froze my account. :(

I was kinda late to the TF2 competitive scene so I haven't had much contact with cherry but he certainly has done a lot for the community and has a huge amount of respect from me and from a significant majority of the community. It's a shame that whatever happened to make him decide to leave has deprived us of someone who is so committed to our scene. The fact is we need people like Cherry to survive, hopefully later down the line when things have cooled down cherry might stop by for a casual visit.

Thank you for everything Cherry. I don't think people realize that you still single-handedly verify most of the games, or that when there is a rare issue you are the almost always the one who fixes it. You are undoubtedly the driving force behind saloon and I really hope it can continue to be as great because you've set a very high bar. I have to admit I was worried when I first learned that you were basically the sole admin (at the start) but there was never any question of abuse and you handled criticism and were receptive to others' points of view, which is far more than most people could have done. Thank you also for being so friendly, it was very nice to have a steam friend be so interested in me and what I was doing, especially when I was first living on my own in Ecuador. Hit me up on steam and let's small talk man!
