Kobe told me if you don't hold crouch in the air you go slower and can't airstrafe.
LMAO prove this kid wrong

There have been quite a few threads about this. If memory serves, holding crouch in the air after jumping won't affect your airspeed/strafing. In fact, not holding crouch will reduce knockback from enemy projectiles/hitscan (Probably a negligible benefit but still)
Some people hold crouch, some don't. It's mostly up to preference.

Iirc in cs you slow down when you crouch and airstrafe, in tf2 you don't. This is why surfers in tf2 hold jump and crouch. (smaller model + no speed loss)

Maybe you can answer this, if you hold crouch it makes your hit box smaller, is this effect on the hitbox negligible as to not reduce your chance of being airshot?

People cant seem to airshot people who dont hold crouch so you shouldnt crouch, but if u play a jump map and u need to get through a small hole u need to crouch

Spam the crouch button as you fly through the air to really fuck with and tilt people with your jiggly model :^)

Getting reduced knockback sounds like a good thing but it's often not. If you've been hit in the air you're either dead anyway or trying to ride the knockback somewhere so more knockback is often better. And yeah the hitbox size is a fair chunk larger, like an extra 1/5th or so.

in tf2 you can only crouch 2 times per jump
Well, 2 is more than enough if you're attempting to use crouch to throw someone's aim off. I don't think most jumps in actual games cover enough distance to warrant more than 2 airshot attempts.
