Only four days left in registration and only 12 teams signed up. What can I do to help get your teams in and playing?

Not sure why some IM/open teams don't want to sign up.
- Free Tournament
- Chance to win Money (unlikely for non-invite / high-im but hey you never know)
- You will be playing teams better than yours that you would never get the chance to otherwise
- Match times are pretty much within the same time people would normally be scrimming
- Supporting TF2 as an esport (the more teams we have sign-up the more often these will happen and when these happen more often they'll start to attract real sponsors)
As I see it there's basically 0 reason to not participate in this.

That's the fun one. Sometimes it feels difficult to climb that competitive ladder but streams and opportunities like this can really help you fuel the fire in your mind if you want to go places.

Yeah, if you've got friends on anyone of the teams Comanglia listed, go tell them to look into joining - the benefits have already been posted before, and it's a really good way to show support for a new group looking into supporting TF2.

I can't play because I have to work on Sunday which has led to me being unable to organize Bruiser Brigade to play properly

As far as seeding goes: I will be seeding teams tomorrow. You will be eligible for seeding if you are signed up by tomorrow and have a majority of players on the same ESEA league team. Seeding will be based on the ESEA standings after the conclusion of matches tonight. If your team does not match up to an ESEA team or does not sign up by tomorrow, you will be randomly given a seed underneath all of the other teams signed up.
As far as scheduling goes: the first three rounds are by default scheduled for 9:30pm, but in order to be flexible, I will allow teams to reschedule to any time before the next round begins. However, both team captains must agree and such an agreement must be communicated before the default match time. This option is not available for the final two rounds of the qualifier on October 11th, so plan ahead.

PLEASE register for the love of god look at the schedule, it's basically just a chance to play good scrims with other teams if you're an IM team.
Even if you're an Open team (my scrub mid Open team signed up) it's a chance to find out where your weaknesses are and to try and take rounds off of some great teams! There's literally nothing to lose. idfk why nobody wants to register when EU got like 31 teams, but it's really frustrating.
We spend literally years whining and complaining about no sponsors, no tournaments, etc. etc. and then here's a free tournament with a proven sponsor & easy supporting platform with $1500 prizes and boom nobody wants to sign up?? I don't get it.

Razer, a major company and MAJOR sponsor of e-sports in general, has expressed interest in TF2...Enough to put together multiple events in both the NA and EU scenes all on their dime. Prize money, servers, support. etc.

For the Challengers Cup I added every High (equivalent to IM/top Open) team on steam and asked if they were going to sign up. It boosted numbers instantly - I wasn't persuading them, just reminding them. Some people don't frequent the forums or forget to sign up til it's too late. Would recommend for the Fall Classic.

I already did that for pretty much every IM team. Most of them said they had players with jobs that couldn't play (smh @ euros 4 not working)

Glad to see we've gotten to 16 teams! ESEA teams will be seeded pretty soon, so if you're still looking to play and haven't registered yet, you don't have much time.

Yes, the show will go on! I have just completed seeding of the 16 teams that matched ESEA rosters. TF2 Team, The Friend Team, and christianmngle.com did not appear to, so they were not included in the seeding process - if this is a mistake, please contact me ASAP.
These three teams and any team that joins after this point will be randomly assigned a seed below 16. However, registration is still open and you can still play - but only until 8:00pm EST tonight. Once registration closes, I will randomly seed the remaining teams, and the first round will happen today 9:30pm EST (unless both teams agree to reschedule the match and post to that effect in Razer match comms before their match starts).
