I do side with GoldenBrownBear on this... He should have definitely either received what he was promised or a full refund from ESEA. I don't think the difference should have come from Killing's pocket, though. ESEA is a profitable organization that pays Killing to do a job. Yes, he definitely made a mistake, and his organization should be responsible for cleaning it up to the customer's satisfaction, but it should not have come out of pocket for him.
Smakers, yes, but that's nobody's concern here. You put pressure on Killing to stump up because he gave you the leverage in the screenshot. He can then put pressure on ESEA if he has leverage with them. Politics 101 yo.
2sy_morphiendG1what would infinite do
Tell you that he doesn't need to offer incentives to get people to play in his far superior league, with competition that is at a mid IM level AT LEAST.
I think you mean at most. You basically said the competition is better than mid IM.

Well, I think what Smaka was talking about would have been covered in business 101. An individual should not be held personally liable when acting in good faith as an agent for a company. When Killing made his mistake, he did so as a representative of ESEA, not as a private entity representing himself or his own personal interests, and the repercussions for that mistake should fall on ESEA, not Killing personally. I hope OP holds out for a refund from ESEA, and refuses any money that comes out of some other kid's pocket.
You're talking about what should happen. I'm talking about what happens. You can tell because what I say happens, happens.
I don't know many businesses where employees pay customers out of pocket but if you say so, I guess I'll just take your word for it.
We're talking about freemiums, not cash. Any company rep can give those out.
Killing's post seemed to imply that he was going to have to pay, personally, for their fees, and all I'm saying is he shouldn't, ethically. ESEA should. If it just means giving out a stack of codes that no one's going to miss, then I guess it doesn't matter.
