has froyo ever gotten offers from esports organizations before this?

Nobody on Froyo actually makes money off of tf2 in the long run. Only streaming. so like . . . being real, not a big downgrade from the last 8 years.

again, contract, no salary, 2 years
it doesn't matter if its something completely new for them, the situation doesn't work well in their favor

Still though, imagine how much more money they could make even just streaming Overwatch instead of TF2, which is b4nny's only source of income.

But if the game gets big and if he get to be the best in it, organizations will want to throw money at him and he will be locked into a contract with no salary.

It is not this complex. Tempo Storm just offered a less than desirable deal. Its like an org that offers free server and mumble, when in reality, you are looking for your league fees paid.

According to my friend who played on their pro CSGO team, tempo storm is one of the shittiest sponsors out there.

On top of what future said, imagine if competitive Overwatch truly becomes a great thing and Froyo happen to be one of the best teams. They would be locked in this shitty two year contract that gives them little to nothing while other organizations would have tried to make offers with salaries and other incentives.
The offer is extremely low risk and high reward for Tempo Storm, yet high risk and low reward for Froyo.

They are just trying to get an opportunity on teams that don't know any better and hope they are complete idiots to not even read a contract.
Having said that, I'm proud to announce that the TF2 TLR team are making the switch to Overwatch! Having just penned a deal with the incredibly reliable Blight Gaming!

The people on this subreddit are crazy. How can you be so sure about something so risky?

why would you want to sign up your team to overwatch before the game even comes out; it's literally an fps mmoba without the level grinding. people always compare it to tf2 but it's going to play radically different because instead of relying on dm you have to figure out how to fucking get past six mini sentries and a guy who does nothing but build sentries and a guy who is a sentry.

and we should believe you're right because....?
one of the support characters can put down up to 9 sentries that attack and slow you down, and which are not destroyed after death
bastion can switch into a sentry at will
torb is just the overwatch version of engineer
the character list/abilities are available on the website and pyyyour has been streaming it
