ive used a deathadder for about a year now, and now its giving me some trouble.
at random points when playing games, windows makes the noise that a usb has been unplugged and put back and the mouse stops working for a few seconds and it comes back to normal.
Ive checked the usb connection and its perfectly fine, and ive tried it out in every usb slot and its not working. I dont think this is a usb issue since my keyboard and everything else is fine. the green mouselight never turns off like it does when i actually unplug it
the mousepad im using a qck heavy+
thanks for any help and lmk if i need to include any more information

I just had to restart for it to be fixed. if it happens repeatedly maybe try reinstalling the DA drivers.

It's less of Razer being garbage and more of their software being garbage.

decided to just buy a fk1, heard too many horror stories about these mice dying so id rather get a working mouse than keep fixing.
thanks for the help

It sounds like the internal connection for the cord might be getting lose out frayed.
I was a deathadder user for years, but one day my original broke and I easily went through 6 or 7 in a year period. Buttons would break mostly, though cable issues and one just up and died mid match. Razer replaced them all free of charge no questions asked, but I stopped being willing to wait a week for that process before getting another mouse every month or two.
Eventually I just switched to Logitech and haven't had a problem with my g400s.
Try a restart, try different computer. I hope you are still under warranty though cause you may be using it.
