Faster tab in time?

I recently switched to using fullscreen from borderless windowed and the tabbing back into the game takes like 1-2 minutes which is just not something I can deal with. If mumble crashes or something during a scrim I basically have to not play for 5 minutes while I tab out for 45 seconds then start mumble then tab back in for 2 minutes.

Is there any way to make it faster to tab in/out?

I don't have a dxlevel in my launch options. Using dx9frames.

Why switch to fullscreen? After I started using borderless window, I saw no reason to switch back, but part of that is probably because I tab out a lot.

I use dx9frames as well.

HidiWhy switch to fullscreen? After I started using borderless window, I saw no reason to switch back, but part of that is probably because I tab out a lot.

Supposedly it reduces input lag and it also makes f.lux not active on the monitor with the fullscreen application while it is open. I'll probably end up switching back though if I can't get the tab out time under 30 seconds because I tab out quite a bit.

Post your whole launch options.

I recently started playing on 1280x720 fullscreen and alt-tabbing took like 30 seconds (nowhere near 2 minutes) but I removed -nod3d9ex and now it's damn near instantaneous.

Removed that and now it's about 15 seconds, thanks!

remove -dxlevel , -full, -w , -h and -nod3d9ex if you have any of those commands in your launch options

I never found the input lag to be noticeable, if there even is any. However, I tried looking up a solution for a faster fullscreen tab in and out, and most of the responses were "borderless windowed". :\

Is 2 minutes exaggerated, cause 30 seconds feels like a fudge ton longer during a scrim/ match.

No I watched my system clock on my other monitor to see how long it was before making this post and it was around 2 minutes
