I decided to make an unofficial guide to the upcoming playoffs as I saw that there wasn't a lot of coverage for invite this season. So to make up for it, here's your guide to the S20 playoffs!

As the fall weather breezes through the hills, and the crisp leavess fall from the trees, the playoffs for ESEA S20 Invite playoffs rises over the horizon. After 9 weeks of matches, frags, and airshots, 4 teams have secured themselves a playoffs spot. While new teams such as Strawberry Mangos and Getawhale Fanclub had amazing performances this season, the same 4 teams from last season's playoffs will appear again (and somehow in the same seeds as last season as well). While people make conspiracies over the secret Invite Illuminati, lets look at the 4 teams that will complete for guts, glory, and most importantly, winning computer athletics.

1. Ascent (14-2)

Scout: Shrugger
Pocket: Rando
Roamer: Ma3la
Demo: Bdonski
Medic: Phorofor

The team that was formed in late 2013 has come a long way since their incarnation. After the farewell of Classic Mixup, Ascent is considered one of the top 2 teams in NA, and the only team that has the capability of winning games vs. the TF2 titans known as Froyotech . The core of Shrugger, Rando, Ma3la, and Bdonski is a formidable force, while newcomers Yomps and Phorofor have proven themselves that they belong in invite. This time they'll be sure to take the crown themselves and de-throne the kings themselves, which is non-other than....

2. Froyotech (14-2)

Scout: Clockwork
Scout: Ash
Pocket: B4nny
Roamer: Blaze
Demo: Duwatna
Medic: Shade

The legends themselves need no introduction. Having won numerous tournaments and also being the 2 time reigning world champions for Insomnia, Froyotech are the team to beat. The only difference they had is that they've played a full season with their new scout Ash, while b4nny took the role of pocket. Everyone else has kept their original roles, and have not missed a beat ever since. They're looking to keep their streak going, and if they win this, they'll have won 5 (yes you heard it, 5) seasons of ESEA in a row. And they definitely don't have plans to lose that streak anytime soon.

3. Team SoloUber (12-4)

Scout: Alec
Scout: Cyzer
Pocket: Showstopper
Roamer: Grape
Demo: Block
Medic: Ninjanick

The team formerly known has Street Hoops have secured a #3 seed for the playoffs. The core of Showstopper, cyzer, and ninjanick played with returning soldier Grape and their new scout Alec. But isn't there someone missing here? Well, for playoffs, they'll have a different demo. Their former demo, Xalox, has decided to step down due to his busy schedule, and therefore, the team has decided to pick up legendary IM demo Block to step in. Other than that, the rest of the roster will remain the same, and they are hungry to prove themselves as one of the best teams in NA.

4. Wood Pig (9-7)

Scout: Squid
Scout: ArcticJoe
Pocket: Milo
Roamer: Harbleu
Demo: Dingo
Medic: Mason

The final team in playoffs are non-other than Wood-Pig. This season Mangachu left the team, and have replaced him with Invite legend harbleu. While their roster has a wealth of talent such as Squid and Milo, their record was a bit shaky, narrowly squeezing into playoffs. However, they have the potential, and can definitely pull an upset or two.
