My interp wont go under 0.05

So I heard the best interp for soldier is 0.0152 so I keep trying to set it to that but I can't. If I enter the command then type cl_interp in console again I see it only goes down to 0.05. Removed all signs of interp commands from my configs, even deleted my configs, still the same thing happening everytime. Do I need interp_ratio set to something to let it go lower or what? I don't understand interp at all :/

Does all this just go in my config.cfg? I put it there then launched the game and it all got removed and my interp commands etc are back to default, am i still doing something wrong?

you probably have cl_cmdrate or cl_updaterate set to 20
