So as of the recent update, my video settings change to the "auto" settings every time i open up the game and its really annoying, is there any way to change what the "auto" settings are set to or just turn them off?
Also is there a way to maintain settings between accounts? I know they changed this and idk where the folder is to change them

change them to the setting that isn't auto that worked for me between accounts

Thats not what i meant, let me give u an example
Auto settings - no matter what account i use, my video settings are always on the highest possible settings.
Maintaining settings - if i have one crosshair or sens or whatever on one account and i go on my alt, the settings dont carry over.

Edit: I didn't read the subsection of the forum...didn't realize this for CSGO. My bad! :(
All configuration files and custom files are stored in your /tf/ folder. The location is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf
The "auto" settings I think you are talking about is because you may have put "-autoconfig" into your Launch Options. To check this, you can go to your Steam Library, right click on Team Fortress 2; Properties -> "Set Launch Options" -> delete "-autoconfig" if it is in there.
If you don't see -autoconfig in your Launch Options, make sure your "cfg" folder is NOT read-only in Windows. You can right click on the "cfg" folder, and uncheck read-only. This will let you change the settings and keep them the same through your restarts of the game.
If you wish to move settings between accounts, you can create your own folders in the given "custom" and "cfg" folders - edit these files to your liking, and then copy those folders to the other computers you wish to have the settings be on.
I hope I've helped!

One of the recent CS:GO updates made it so that graphics settings aren't shared between accounts on the same computer anymore. This caused my graphics settings to all be reset as well, but once I changed them back, they stayed that way.
I don't know how to fix your specific problem, but it's most likely related to that update.

Found out a solution for anyone who has this problem
If you have mat_savechanges or host_writeconfig in your autoexec/launch options, take them out.
