I've had my Zowie FK1 for about a year and a half to 2 years now, and I've had no issues with it up until now.
Everything with it has been fine, but about halfway through a game of H1Z1, it started this trend of stopping for a quarter of a second and then being responsive again. I've tried different USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, changing the polling rate, restarted, and even checked if the issue persists in various games (pops up in TF2 after about 5 minutes of play). The USB ports on the motherboard can't be dead either, I just got this motherboard about 3 weeks ago.
Wondering if anyone has had similar issues or can attest to Zowie mice deteriorating over time. I don't mind getting a new mouse, since I have a 2013 DeathAdder as a backup to use for now.

My FK2 of ~6 months was doing exactly this a couple weeks ago. It would happen a lot. I emailed zowie RMA and they said they would replace it, but I never got around to it and it hasn't happened in at least 2 weeks.

Its not just zowie mice. My corsair m65 is also having the same issue. Maybe something with a recent windows update fucked mice?

my deathadder did that too until I replaced it with a fk1 about a month ago (which works fine), so atleast for me it wasn't a windows update.

Happened with my steelseries rival, started working fine again after I reinstalled my windows.

my ec1 did the same thing, i cleaned the mouse and cleaned my mousepad and the problem went away

I had this problem with my g502 where the sensor would at random times do a 360 in game when you flicked or sometimes just at random, and I ended up replacing my g502 because of it with a EC1-A

My 2013 deathadder has started doing this out of the blue, as well. I've kept it in good shape and it always tries to reinstall drivers whenever it "reconnects" to my computer.
