We didn't support them so they aren't going to support us. It's sad, but nobody can't act surprised.

Razer Arena is also an open system, so if you want to run a cup using their framework you can.

Razer have also previously voiced interest in matching prizes put in from other sources but I don't know if that is still on the table.

Yup. Any future tournaments I host will almost certainly be run through Razer Arena, but I think it would be pretty unfair to be upset that they don't want to sponsor dead end tournaments that end up with single digit team signups.

yeah, a real shame. the guy (can't remember his name) put in proper effort on these forums, communicating and listening to feedback. looked real promising until people just stopped signing up.

We put up the events when they happened. There haven't been any since Monthly Madness in November.

to be honest tf2 was heavily saturated with cups and leagues for the most of its duration specially considering the size of our scene. The biweekly ones were cool to keep playing in the offseason but then mid-season and every day cups just seemed like an unwise decision regardless of its good intentions.

I still hope it comes back to some extent after matchmaking hits. Their team and their response was definitely top notch

Razer Arena is a nice platform for online tournaments as that's what it is optimized for. However it's important to note that once options and things have been set, it is impossible to change them. If you need to change things a lot of the fly, then you may want to consider using another platform.
