My EC1 eVo registers 2 clicks instead of 1 on my 4th button sometimes. Is is the issue they're talking about?

Im not quite sure I just found it today and maybe someone has an idea about it

Thanks to the information from early buyers, it is discovered that random double-clicks are observed in the new ZOWIE FK1, FK2, ZA11, ZA12, ZA13, EC1-A, EC2-A models and such occurrences are discovered so far in the Nordic and the North America region. Due to reliability concerns, production and worldwide sales of the above mentioned models will be halted. Consumers that have acquired the specific products can call your retailer and register for you replacement within valid warranty

I myself don't have a zowie mouse i just thought it might be important to people who do have them

You might want to keep your mouse because the ones they're replacing this with have Huano switches as opposed to Omicron ones

On Facebook, Zowie said they are replacing them back with Huano switches. They are sending them back on the market around March 2016. Huano switches aren't that bad tbh, I can't really feel the difference.

I just got a new FK1 about 3 weeks to a month ago, could I potentially be affected by this? I haven't noticed any double clicks on any mouse button, but it could be an issue that takes time to manifest.

purchased a new fk2 a month or two ago, haven't had any issues at all. I doubt absolutely 100% of zowie mice would be affected, but it wouldn't hurt to get a free replacement either.

Afaik no, the reason why they recalled them was because the omrons caused 2x clicking with the shell.
