Full Tilt, which has been involved with much artificial drama over the past week, has confirmed to teamfortess.tv that their pocket Silentes has stepped down from the active roster by mutual agreement with the team.
The team has stated that they are looking for players to try out for the opening on the roster. While they are in the process of searching for a new pocket, they will use renowned pocket Tek as a standin for upcoming tournaments.
Sideshow offered the team's outlook on the situation:
Our team was getting frustrated with our inability to attend LANs, and the inability of our team (Silentes in particular) to focus during scrims. Silentes decided on Monday that he was not finding it enjoyably to play frequently and seriously for a top team, and wanted to move to a backup role.
We are now searching for a pocket, and this leaves a big hole in terms of deathmatch and calling. Tek has agreed to play with us until Overwatch comes back online, which will be for the ZOWIE cup and first few weeks of ETF2L. We are still looking for a long-term replacement for DreamHack Summer and i58.
The team's current roster is thus:
- Scout: Astt
- Scout: Thalash
- Roamer: Sideshow
- Pocket: Tek (standin)
- Demoman: spudd
- Medic: kos
- Silentes (backup)
