Hugs.tf is a charity stream that will be taking place from 18GMT/19CEST Saturday 27th February until roughly 19GMT/20CEST on Sunday 28th, with the proceeds going to Special Effect as part of their Gameblast event.
With the help from a number of donors, and sponsorship from tf2pickup.net, whitelist.tf and huds.tf, we have a selection of unusual hats and weapons, killstreak kits, and a backpack full of other miscs to raffle away to donators.
The production will be streamed from a house in West London, with a massive boost from essentials.tf, who are donating their equipment and time to give us the highest quality output possible.
We have a series of guests that will be on location, with plenty more signed up to help with competitive and casual events during the stream.

ok i went full PR mode for this, made a reddit post and a raffle on scrap.tf (though this might as well get me banned but worth it) so this gets more attention even in the more casual parts of the tf2 playerbase

Quick Update: The reddit post got around 94 upvotes in one day which is roughly 4.5 times as many as the original one, it also made it in the "Hot" section of the subreddit
Atleast 600 people entered the raffle, chances are that atleast a few people watched the video. Im also planning to do another raffle on the 27th as sort of a reminder.
I also contacted a few of the bigger TF2 personalites like Nislt, Uncle Dane etc via email or reddit, so maybe one of them makes some kind of PSA video or whatnot to introduce their respective fanbase to the event.
Oh and i asked the comptf2 tumblr to advertise for this as well and they already made a post about it http://competitivetf2.tumblr.com/post/139488018945/hugstf-introduction-announcement-by-hugstf
and they informed the FuckYeahTF2 blog (an all around tf2 things blog) about the event and they reblogged their post

Great news guys, after i emailed him, Tyler McVicker from the ValveNewsNetwork youtube channel (30 - 50.000 average views per video) said he will talk about the event in his next "Community Catch-up" video (a video series where he talks about stuff happening in the valve game community, like Half Life fangames etc.)
