What should I main, demoman or soldier?

I feel like both are equally fun for me. Hitting pipes is so fun, but jumping around and hitting sik air shots is also really fun for me. I tend to play to too aggressively and most of the time I get myself killed but sometimes I can net myself a few frags . I want to get into 6s after maining spy in ugc ᴵ ᵏᶰᵒʷ ᴵᵐ ᵇᵃᵈᵃˢˢ and I'm going to try for low-mid open. Anyways, I know this is sort of a weird topic, but I would like to hear your guys opinion on the matter. Is either class particularly better to main? for what reasons? which class is the best if you want to play aggressively?

i'd say demoman since no one wants to play it anymore, but it's whatever you have more fun with. whatever makes the game enjoyable for u

Demoman is in the most demand after the nerf. Even if you are slightly above mediocre you should have no problem finding a team.

Both have different kits to get shit done. Pug both, maybe do some tryouts (if available) as both classes.

Soldier is probably easier to get into because it's much easier to protect yourself and others with rockets. Not only that, but with the surging popularity of gunboats on roamers AND pockets can allow for slightly easier "big plays" to be executed.
