You can't walk through other player characters so people have to queue like 2005 era WoW/Runescape

Is that still an issue? I waited in line for an hour. Once it became my turn, it didn't work. I tried multiple times. Turns out logging out and joining a new instance somehow fixed the problem.
I gotta say, my initial experience was all I ever wanted. Nothing beats basically being at the DMV like this game's launch day.

uplay is garbage
i'm playing atm, but i'm leveling super slow and grouping with people just seems like a really painful experience unless you're both within 1 level of each other
the scaling really really hurts in this game
the game reminds me of saints row 3 combat mixed with borderlands loot system, but the environment it's in is pretty cool (devastated new york)

that line is the only part of this game that is good
the rest is just mindless grinding through copy-paste boring quests. seriously, all the quests are the same, walk for 1 hour, kill these mobs with terrible robotic AI, repeat. just check the negative reviews on the game's steam page.

yeah the combat is pretty stale, but i'm still having fun even though i'm doing it solo
the AI seems to level up as you level up (or maybe it's just different enemy types), so it'll do things like learn how to flank you or do some really stupid stuff to make you miserable
the game is extremely fun with friends, but that shouldn't be a thing since pretty much any game with multiplayer is fun with friends
