recently installed windows 7 on a separate hard drive to compare performance between 10 and 7.
problem is, I'm getting weird locking/stuttering in every game I play. it's hard to see or explain, but basically when I'm moving my mouse around it randomly locks up and doesn't move. sometimes, it will also stutter, where I'll move my mouse and it will skip across the screen instead of normal tracking.

i tried to record a video here, even though the quality is awful you can see the clear lock/unlock.
I have a g502 w/ logitech gaming software.
this doesnt happen in my windows 10 install, but I would really like to keep windows 7 because my games run much better.

Did you try re-installing mouse drivers? Or running with the generic Windows one?

running with the generic drivers seems to have fixed it
