This is how readying up for matchmaking looks like for me, everything else MM-wise seems to work just fine.
I ninja fixed that a few days ago without an update announcement. If you update to the latest version from GitHub, it should work fine.
Max_Also not sure if it's just me but when the countdown from 10 happens for matchmaking I don't see the fancy screen. I just see the game like when you hold TAB when it's counting downHmm yeah, I will figure that out in the long term. For now I just wanted to ensure basic matchmaking compatibility. Keep in mind matchmaking is still in early beta and there will be a lot of changes.

what file did you edit to fix the readyups?

I'm torn about it. I really don't like that the Stream panel loads up by default every time you start the game. It doesn't seem that necessary. If the panel was hidden when starting TF2, then I would implement a Streams button, so people could check Streams whenever they consider watching one.

Copy/paste the CHudVote section from basefiles/hudlayout.res to scripts/hudlayout.res and then disable it by setting wide to 0. Will explain this change later.

Special shoutout goes to Wiethoofd for all the HUD help. The broeselhud_blue Steam group recently hit over 500 members, exceeding my wildest expectations. It shows that I'm not the only one who cares about this HUD. A few days ago I was approached by "trigger", who offered to code an installer for the HUD. I wanted version 4.0 to be something bigger than usual, and there we go! Today we're officially releasing the first version of the broeselhud_blue installer. You can find the download link in the start post. Please be invited to use it, test it, and provide feedback in the Steam group discussion.

Having an installer/updater would be pretty sweet, but tbh I'm content using git to get my updates. Since I've made some customizations to the HUD, every time I pull, git can figure out the merging and maintain my changes for me.

Nevertheless, kudos to trigger for making the installer and blue for his dedication to the coolest HUD.

I like the installer. Makes changing all the current options much easier with each update instead of manually doing it.

The problem I have is the crosshairs on the installer. Its hard to judge the actual size since it doesn't change also no option for an outline so you have to manually add it in the crosshair.res file

Removed them for now because custom TargetID buff color looks really bad with the new buff background. You can still modify them in hudanimations_custom though.
