I have tried fps_max 0 and fps_max 300
Framerate target control in radeon control centre is disabled

do you use any other custom config files that might have fps_max in them? What are your launch settings?

fps_max should take effect immediately, although it can't be used if you're on a server

have you tried setting it manually after booting the game? if you type fps_max into console without an argument does it show that it's changed? does it stay that way once you're ingame?

dumb question perhaps but is your fps sitting right on 195-200 or does it stay much lower/fluctuate a lot? bc you might just not be getting over 200 fps.
need to know your rig as #3 asked
