tbh if you tried hard enough anything can become candied
candy and desserts are the same thing because candy is basically considered anything that can be sweet, so basically anything that uses sugar or something similar Edit: apparently this depends on your region, because depending on your viewpoint you might not consider desserts candy, since candies are supposed to be things that can be eaten in-between meals
also those rice candies hidi posted are pretty great, but a lot of people don't realize you can eat the rice paper wrapper around the candy and always try to remove it lmao
